We’re sticklers for clean in every sense of the word, from using 100% cotton thread and making our own wax (just water, lemon, and sugar!) to the holistic way we operate our studio. That’s why we offer fair wages, full benefits, and more to our staffers.
THREADING
Using 100% cotton thread, this centuries-old method offers fast, painless, hygienic hair removal by twisting thread into a lasso shape to remove hair line by line—and individually as needed—with the utmost precision.
WAXING & SUGARING
We use our longtime family recipe of just sugar, water, and lemon juice that adheres to hair only (never the skin!) on the bikini area, legs, arms, and more.
LASH LIFT
Our lash lifts not only enhance but also strengthen your lashes with keratin after years of damage. You’ll be surprised how long and full your lashes look with just one treatment!
BROW LAMINATIONÂ
Brow lamination is basically a perm for your brows. It gives your brows a set, uniform shape for an extended period of time. Instead of curls, a setting lotion helps brow hair stay brushed up and lifted upward for about six weeks. The best part is our products are vegan and cruelty free, using keratin!

Beauty by Dolly was started by 2 sisters,
Dolly and Kashmira.
Dolly’s history and love affair with threading and sugaring started long ago, 50+ years ago in fact, where she learned how to make sugar and thread eyebrows by her childhood neighbor. Since then, she has continued to share her love for sugaring and threading with people all around the world - India, Iran, and America!
Meet Our Founders
Kashmira started her esthetics career over 35 years ago at a world-renowned spa and has had the honor of providing facials and hair removal to many celebrities. She left her career to pursue her love for aesthetics with her sister, Dolly.Â
​When Beauty by Dolly opened, Kashmira’s daughter, Natashah just graduated high school and started working at Beauty by Dolly alongside going to school. Fast forward 19 years and she has since graduated (twice!) from UCLA and has received not only her bachelors, but also her MBA from this prestigious school.
 She has helped Beauty by Dolly grow into the brand it is, helping streamline the business and create an amazing ambiance and experience for clients. Natashah loves bringing these experiences to clients and is always looking for a way to elevate what Beauty by Dolly has to offer. Thanks to Natashah, Beauty by Dolly has been mentioned in InStyle Magazine, and awarded many local awards as San Diego’s favorite brow and hair removal studio.

"IN LOVE"
This place is well-rated and hyped for a reason! Every time I come here, I come before opening and there is already 5 people or so in line waiting. They have done a good job of building reputation in the community and many people only swear by going to them. The staff is very friendly and each person I've had has done a great job with my brows.
I'd recommend getting their brow tab which allows you to pay around $70 for 7 brow threading sessions. I now refuse to go anywhere besides here because of how other people have messed up on my brows in the past.

Heard great things about Beauty by Dolly so I decided to check them out. I decided to get the eyebrow lamination and tint combo and also did some threading.
They have threading chairs out front and rooms where you can get other services done.
